Redevelopment of 'Working With Children' ESS
The Employment Screening System (ESS) provided by the Commission for Children and Young People (CCYP) is the key tool for providing statutory Working With Children (WWC) employee background checks to all employers in NSW who offer child-related employment. The Agency was looking to streamline business processes and to automate much of the research into candidate background checks by linking with several national sources of data. BSR Solutions was engaged to provide advice to the CCYP on strategic options for improved systems, process improvement, business risk management and the next stage of the redevelopment of working with children Employment Screening System. BSR developed business requirements, assisted with the tender preparation and evaluation processes and advised on a Governance framework to manage the development lifecycle and selected vendor.
